Robocalls with spoofed local numbers
I received a robocall on my business phone (on the do not call list), and while I was answering, my cell phone (on the do not call list) rang with the same number. When I answered, there is no one there.
When I try to call the number back, it does not connect. So I called corporate office in Rochester. They claim they do not make spam calls, and have no rep in my area that would have that number.
They say their only reps are in Rochester. On both my cell phone and my business phone, the caller ID read: "5linx 916-476-****"

U approve company because ur a part of the scam. If a company doesn't give u full disclosure it's fraud involved.
N I'm sure u quit ur job n are currently looking for another because sales always boom in the beginning when u have signed up and/or targeted all ur friends n family but once they've all been signed n see this company n service is bad, U Will lose them. No one likes to be cheated or taken advantage of. If it's such a good company why so many complaints. I have done direct sales before n it wasn't like this.
Ponzi, scam, fraud, deceptive all words that describe this wayward company. N the kicker is they use God n the word" blessing" as a way to trap ppl in.
No good at all. Patresia
5linx - Mlm Business Review from Miami, Florida
Has anyone noticed that 5 Linux or any MLM company always targets the minority, hispanics, african american & the lower middle class. Go to the meetings; look around!
The founders are always Rich & wealthy white guys. Remember if you have a product that is GREAT as they say it would sell themselves. They actually don't want you to sell the products they want you to recruit people. At $249 initial start up costs and $49.95 per month I would want you to recruit people as well.
ALL of their products have a catch; either direct withdrawal from your checking account or a monthly service fee. The only difference that 5linx states is that it's your business and you MUST invest in your business! Very well said! Always check your "upline" look at how many people in their group/team is making real money.
Forget about their checks of $30,000-$45,000 a month! When is enough enough ask them to help you make $8,000 a month. You believed them an joined their group tell them to believe in you and allow me to make $5,000 a month! THEY WON'T DO IT!!!
Ask them to give you a leg!
THEY WON'T DO IT! They'll just say "It's about POSITIONING YOURSELF!" Nice great ANSWER!

5LINX COMMISSION SCAM
I attended one of 5Linx's information sessions and signed up. The opportunity was presented as being pretty lucrative.
Upon signing up and paying, I sold two services for them under the code I was provided which was Protect America which is a home alarm service and Direct TV cable service and just because I would not continue to pay for their website, my account was deactivated and I never received a commission payment for the services I implemented during my membership.
They made me feel like that it was all about paying them money. BE WARNED IF YOU CAN NOT PAY FOR THEIR WEBSITE DO NOT SIGN UP

Deceptive Business Practices
After contacting their Rep Support Department several times regarding getting a refund for the services I have cancelled I was told that unless I can provide them with a copy of their email response and talk to someone via phone at the same time they would not be able to help me. Their site only has a link for communicating with Rep Support and when you use this link they can and will delete your activity so that you do NOT have a record of their communication with you.

Why All These Complaints?
How and why are these people joining without knowing ALL the facts??? I just don't get it ... are they not watching the 5LINX Videos, going to the PBR's or Information Sessions to ask questions before they jump in and then jump down 5LINX throat when something happens they are clueless about?
Signed Perplexed
BTW those friends or whomever signed ppl up need to be held accountable for not doing due diligence - the blame needs to go to them. I knew everything I needed to know before I signed up (I also watched the 5LINX Videos (that probably would've told you more than what your friend or associate did). I had no problems w/fees and I don't blame 5LINX because I didn't become successful. I blame me, myself & I ... I realized I'm not built for Network Marketing in that fashion and I left a Happy Camper.

5Linx! Black Marketed Company?
Wasn't this black marketed company number one in Rochester New York? Didn't this black marketed company produce millionaires?
and did not the co founders, who are white in this back marketed company just elect the first ever African American CEO in the history of Network Marketing? Sounds Like Someone has some racial issues. So people have to see successful, educated, wealthy black folks.. History has shown our worth and accomplishments that were stolen and hidden behind white faces.
(No disrespect.) Now we will watch a black man take this Million Dollar Company to a Billion Dollar company. Not alone, but as a collective team... I am Black!
I am White! And I Am 5Linx!

5linx was able to take money from my bank account without my permission!
My cousin Tamika Hamilton on my step father's side of the family along with her partner Porcia introduced me to this 5 linx company, and said I would have to pay two hundred forty nine dollars to start. I said okay, I get paid on Wednesday.
I never finished filling out the application, I put my social security number, name, and email address on the paper, before I could go into my account to give them the money, they had already taken more money than what they asked me for from my account. Three transactions were made on wednesday February 5, 2014. The first one was for 249.00 independent marketing representative. The second one was for 49.95 for platinum service monthly, and the third one for 45.00 5linx energy certification.
This is not right, so I'm bringing this criminal activity to your attention. I would like a refund, and I would hope someone address this situation soon.
These people have overdrawn my account by taking my hard earned money without my permission. My number is three zero one eight two one five zero five three.

It is possible that the caller ID shows 5linx because the person/business calling has 5linx phone service and they are not actually a representative of the company.
I also just got a missed call from this #. I don't pick up for phone #'s I don't recognize and I'm at work.
They didn't leave a message so I figured it wasn't important. I do google #'s to see who it is.
